This is a large size medium bulky weight wool tam made from mostly smooth textured black, navy, very dark purple and red Corriedale wool.  The fuzzier textured navy section is uncarded Romney wool.  The pale gray accent and design stripes are undyed Corriedale wool.  The blue, black and dark gray thin stripes are tussah silk.  The silvery gray at the center and around the edge of the hat are a blend of dark gray Merino wool and white Malamute plied with silver angelina cord.
