This is a bulky weight medium large tam.  The bright two tone green is uncarded Romney wool spun thick and thin for added texture.  The dye has come out two tone because it has a lot of lanolin in it.  Lanolin tends to repel the dye color a bit and also gives makes the hat somewhat water repellant.  The teal around the top and edge and the rusty brown are both Corriedale wool.  The beige and white are undyed llama wool.  The thin gold accent stripes are undyed tussah silk.  This type of silk is naturally gold colored.
