This hat is made from two-ply unprocessed flax, which gives it a more textured look than the flax roving that's been prepared for spinning that I usually use.  Flax is the fiber that linen is made from.  The double ply gives the brim just enough stiffness to hold it's shape.  The flower is made from tussah silk, and I can make them in any color.  A very cute, stylish hat, perfect for warm weather.  The one with the red flower is sold, but I can make more.
