This is a medium weight cloche style hat designed to fully cover the ears. The top section is some kid mohair/Romney wool blend and hand painted Corriedale wool plied with tencel cord.  The pink at the very top and bordering the fuzzy gray is bamboo.  The thin turquoise stripes are tussah silk.  The variegated gold/rust/olive and blue/olive/green upper sections are a blend of several kinds of wool with tussah silk noil.  These two sections are separated with a thin stripe of gold tussah silk plied with dark green and blue tencel cord.  The grayish fluffy looking sections are a blend of different subtle colors of wool and white malamute hair with blue sparkle.  Sparkle unfortunately doesn't show up in computer images. The variegated blue/lavender stripes on either side of the turquoise is a blend of kid mohair and silk.  The flower is made from this same yarn, and the pink center is silk.  The bottom variegated section is more wool/silk noil blend with a border of fine spun green Romney wool plied with dark green, blue and gold tencel cord.
