This is a medium to extra bulky weight loose knit hat designed to fully cover the ears.  The solid olive color is Corriedale wool.  The first lumpy section next to the brim is beige/peach/light brown hand painted extra bulky Romney wool plied with cotton cord and hand painted rust/pink/grayish lavender/pale green wool/cashmere blend plied with gold thread with rust, greenish gold leave-shaped sequins. The middle lumpy section is more of the wool/cashmere blend and some wool/silk blend coils with bits of bright fuchsia mohair spun in.  This is also plied with gold thread.  Between the middle and topmost lumpy section is some Corriedale wool dyed a very pale peachy color with some soft pale yellow.  The topmost lumpy section is more of the extra bulky hand painted Corriedale in warm beige and very light rusty brown with dark orange, silver and green glass beads.  Then more of the wool/cashmere blend with a gold half moon sequin and greenish gold leaf shaped sequins.  Bordering the top section of the hat is some soft green solid color Corriedale wool.  The top is more wool/cashmere hand painted in shades of soft green, salmon, grayish lavender and olive green with more of the green/gold leaf shaped sequins.  There is also a little crocheted chain with a sequin on the end that finishes off the top section and looks really cute! (Hard to see in the photo, though.)
