This is a medium bulky weight skull cap designed to cover the top of the ears on an adult or all of the ears on a child.  It's made from Romney, Corriedale, Suffolk and Merino wool with thin accent stripes in tussah silk.  The orange and green have a more nubbly texture than the rest of the hat because the wool was raw and uncarded.  The orange is Suffolk and the green is Romney.  The yellow is smoother textured carded Corriedale roving.  The light blue/gray is a blend of Merino wool and silk.  Roving is wool that is bought already prepared for spinning.  Carded means that it has been combed to smooth the fiber.
