This is a one size fits all loose knit hat designed to fully cover the ears.  It features some new fiber I recently bought that's a bit unusual.  It's called suri alpaca, and you can read a bit about it, if you like, on my Spinable Critters page (scroll down to near the bottom).  It's a bit expensive, but very nice and looks a bit like mohair.  The bottom most lumpy section and the one second to the top are both a blend of grayish white Shetland wool with chunks of the suri alpaca, which has been hand painted rust, green and greenish yellow, spun in.  The lumpy section just above the bottom one is lumpy spun rust dyed Corriedale wool.  The lumpy section next up is white Corriedale wool with chunks of soft green and brown mohair spun in and then plied with tencel cord.  There's also some pastel multi-color eyelash novelty yarn added. (That would be the hairy looking bits.)  The lumpy section nearest the top is white Corriedale wool with pale green and yellow mohair, more of the eyelash and some pink wool blended in.  The top section is a blend of Shetland and Icelandic wool that has streaks of dark and light gray and is plied with black thread.  The in between non lumpy sections are all medium weight Corriedale wool.
