This is a medium weight cap designed to cover most or all of the ears.  The dark brown is undyed Romney wool.  The lighter brown is very soft undyed Blue Face Leicester (not sure why this breed is called that, but will check it out).  The gray is undyed Shetland wool plied with turquoise thread with tiny bits of colored silk.  The green is Corriedale wool.  The purple around the edge is kid mohair, and the light blue is a blend of Merino wool and tencel.  The tencel gives it a bit of a subtle sheen.  Tencel is a fiber made from wood or bamboo.
